The terms governing your engagement with Mankorie Global Energy Ltd.

These Terms of Service govern your engagement with Mankorie Global Energy Ltd. By requesting a quotation, signing a project agreement, or using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms below.

Acceptance of Terms

By engaging our services in any capacity, you agree to these Terms of Service. This forms a legally binding agreement between you and Mankorie Global Energy Ltd.

Scope of Services

Mankorie provides professional electrical installations, solar energy systems, CCTV and security systems, and related power solutions. The specific scope of each engagement will be defined in a written quotation or project agreement agreed upon before work begins.

Any changes to the agreed scope must be documented in writing and may affect timelines or pricing.

Quotations & Project Agreements

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
  • A quotation does not become a contract until formally accepted in writing by the Client and confirmed by Mankorie
  • Project agreements will clearly outline the scope of work, materials, timelines, payment schedule, and warranty terms

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in the project agreement.

  • A deposit may be required before work commences
  • Milestone payments may apply for larger projects
  • Final payment is due upon completion and handover
  • Mankorie reserves the right to pause work if payment obligations are not met
  • All fees are payable in Nigerian Naira unless otherwise agreed

Client Obligations

To enable us to deliver effectively, the Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate site information and access to the premises at agreed times
  • Ensure the work site is reasonably safe and prepared
  • Promptly review and approve designs or materials where required
  • Make timely payments as agreed
  • Notify Mankorie immediately of any concerns during the project

Warranty

Where applicable, Mankorie provides a warranty on workmanship and installed equipment, with specific terms stated in the project agreement. The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accidental damage
  • Modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons
  • Damage from power surges, grid instability, flooding, or natural events
  • Normal wear and tear

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing within the applicable warranty period.

After-Sales Support & Maintenance

Post-installation support is available as agreed at the time of the project or under a separate service agreement. Clients interested in ongoing maintenance are encouraged to enquire about our maintenance service packages.

Limitation of Liability

  • Mankorie is not liable for loss or damage caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including grid instability, acts of God, or third-party interference
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project in question
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or business interruption

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud arising from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, and technical documentation prepared by Mankorie remain our intellectual property unless expressly transferred in writing. Clients may use such materials solely in connection with the relevant project.

Safety & Compliance

All work complies with applicable Nigerian electrical safety regulations and industry standards. The Client is responsible for ensuring that all site conditions and existing infrastructure disclosed to Mankorie are accurate and complete.

Termination

  • Either party may terminate an agreement by written notice if the other party materially breaches their obligations and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days
  • Upon termination, the Client shall pay for all work satisfactorily completed and materials procured up to that date
  • Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the project stage

Dispute Resolution

Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to mediation or arbitration in accordance with Nigerian law.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Nigerian courts.

Amendments

Mankorie reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes before they take effect. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
